Workshop Intro to Shibari | English version
We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be holding another Shibari Initiation Workshop in the English version in Porto on 11 May from 9am to 1pm.
Knots, safety, friction, tension, rope handling and various exercises will be covered.
The workshop is suitable for those who have or don’t have a partner, or who want to start tying themselves.
We have tickets for the rope jam that follows in the afternoon and anyone who wants to come to both events can bring lunch and eat in our social area.
The space will be for the exclusive use of KNOTY participants, in order to provide as much comfort and confidentiality as possible for everyone who joins us.

WORKSHOP, from 9am to 1pm.
Lasting 4 hours, it is divided into two parts, the first theoretical and the second practical. Topics will be covered such as:
Safety,
What to expect on my first time,
Knots and the importance of a good single column tie,
Locks, frictions, tension and counter-tension,
Rope handling,
Practical exercises and practice in tying.
Investment of 35 euros per person (40 euros if you also want to join the rope jam in the afternoon).
Ropes available on site for those who don’t have their own.

Reservations per pair must be made with two tickets and will be made in order of number of participants.
The ropes available are for use on site only.
It is forbidden to photograph or film inside; photography is only allowed between the pair and without photographing the rest of the participants and they will have to ask the express permission of the organization.
Footwear will not be allowed inside, so we advise you to wear socks and comfortable clothing.
There will be an isolated area for socializing, with refreshments and snacks.
The investment will only be refunded – in the event of cancellation – up to one week before the date of the event.
